Lessons at Frontier Farm are designed to build confidence, clarity, and partnership — whether you are completely new to horses, learning to drive, or looking to deepen your understanding of your own horse.

Instruction includes carriage driving for those interested in learning the sport, as well as foundational ground driving for riders and handlers who want to strengthen communication, balance, and connection from the ground up. Ground driving is one of the most valuable tools in horsemanship, helping to develop timing, feel, responsiveness, and a clearer understanding between horse and handler.

Our approach is steady, encouraging, and individualized. Progress is built through consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement. Every lesson is centered around safety, thoughtful communication, and helping both horse and human develop greater confidence.

Whether your goal is to compete, expand your skill set, work through a challenge, or simply become a more capable and knowledgeable horseperson, lessons at Frontier Farm are rooted in classical principles and taught in a supportive, hands-on environment.

Lessons are currently available for $50 per lesson. Lesson horses will be available in the future, but unfortunately, are not available at this time.

Depending on your goals and area of focus, instruction may include:

• Groundwork and handling

• Lunging

• Ground driving

• Riding lessons 

  • Dressage​

  • Jumping and gridwork

• Carriage driving

  • CDE's​

  • Driving singles or pairs

• General horsemanship and skill development
